The Role & Your Impact:

As the Ecommerce Merchandise, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the business performance and merchandise experience of Petite-Plume.com. Reporting to the Director of Ecommerce & Analytics you will be responsible for leading product launches, content planning and merchandising the site. This is a fully remote position.

Site Merchandising + Product Management

  • Manage the online product lifecycle, from upload to markdown, ensuring accuracy in product descriptions, imagery, pricing, and categorization.
  • Lead and execute seasonal product launches, ensuring alignment with marketing campaigns and brand storytelling.
  • Partner with the Merchandising team to ensure product strategy is executed.
  • Develop and execute merchandising strategies to optimize product placement, category navigation, and content curation based on sales trends and consumer behavior.
  • Ensure products are effectively showcased through compelling imagery, copy, and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Regularly update collection pages, and promotional banners based on current sales objectives, product launches, and trends.

Analytics & Optimization

  • Track and analyze product performance metrics (sell through, conversion rate, IPT, AOV, etc.) to identify opportunities for improvement of merchandising, cross-sell and up-sell areas.
  • Run A/B testing on merchandising strategies to determine the most effective layouts, copy, and visuals.
  • Provide reports and actionable insights on product and category performance to the eCommerce and marketing teams weekly.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with buying and planning teams to optimize stock availability and reduce sell-through risks.

Search & Navigation

  • Identify opportunities to enhance search functionality, filters, and navigation to improve discoverability and conversion.
  • Work with the Marketing team to maximize SEO for product + Category names, copy and urls.
  • Develop tagging and categorization strategies to improve the discoverability of key items.

Cross Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with the merchandising, marketing, and creative teams to align on assortment launches, promotional calendars, mark downs, and pricing strategies.
  • Partner closely with Ecommerce Manager to address pain points in the customer journey and improve the overall shopping experience.
  • Coordinate with inventory teams to ensure products on inventory position of key products.

Trend Analysis

  • Monitor eCommerce and industry trends to ensure the site reflects best practices in merchandising and product discovery.
  • Benchmark against competitors to keep the brand competitive.

What Experience You Need:

  • 3-5 years of B2C/D2C eCommerce merchandising experience, with expertise in product categorization, search strategies, and product content management.
  • Strong understanding of Shopify Plus and Product merchandising and discovery tools.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Comfort operating in a data-driven environment.
  • Knowledge of the Fashion Retail industry.
